Help and FAQs

Answers to what we get asked most. If yours isn’t here, the support line is open 24 hours a day.

Booking and prices

How is the price worked out?
Journeys between a London airport and a covered zone have a fixed price — you see the total before you book and it doesn’t change, whatever the traffic does. Other journeys are priced on distance and expected driving time. If we can’t price a route automatically you can request a custom quote and we’ll come back to you, usually within two working hours.
Is the price per car or per person?
Per car. The fare covers the vehicle, the driver and everyone travelling in it, up to that class's passenger and luggage limits.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as you can — pricing doesn't change with demand, but availability does, particularly for larger vehicles and early-morning airport runs. We can often cover same-day bookings; call us if it's within a few hours.
Which vehicle should I pick?
Each class lists how many passengers and large cases it takes. Those are hard limits, not guidance — a driver can refuse a journey that's overloaded, so book the larger class if you're close to the line.
Can I add a stop on the way?
Yes, add a via stop when you choose your vehicle and enter the address. It's charged as a fixed extra, shown in the fare breakdown before you pay. Journeys with a via stop are card payment only.
Do you carry child seats?
Yes — add them when you choose your vehicle and we'll fit them before pick-up. Tell us the child's age in the notes if you're unsure which type you need.

At the airport

What happens if my flight is delayed?
We track the flight number you give us and move the pick-up to match the actual landing time. You are not charged for the delay, so please give us the flight number rather than a guessed arrival time.
How long will the driver wait?
60 minutes' free waiting from the moment your flight lands, which is normally enough to clear immigration and collect bags. If you're going to be longer than that, call the support line and we'll do what we can.
What is meet and greet?
Your driver parks, comes into the terminal and waits in arrivals with a name board, then helps with your bags to the car. Without it, you meet the driver at a pick-up point outside — cheaper, but you'll be walking to the car yourself.
Where do I meet the driver?
It depends what you chose at booking: in arrivals with a name board, at the short-stay car park, or at the terminal kerbside. Your confirmation and driver details both repeat the arrangement.

Changes and cancellations

Can I cancel? Will I get a refund?
Yes. Cancel more than 24 hours before pick-up for a full refund, more than 2 hours before for a 50% refund, and inside 2 hours there’s no refund. Cancel from your bookings — the refund tier that applies is shown before you confirm.
Can I change the time or address?
Not from the website yet — call the 24/7 support line on +44 20 7946 0100 and we’ll amend it for you. Changing the time, address or vehicle class may change the fixed price; we’ll tell you the new total before anything is confirmed.
What if no-one turns up for the car?
If we can't reach you and the free waiting time runs out, the journey is treated as a no-show and charged in full. Keep your phone on and reachable after you land — the driver will try to call before giving up.

Payment and receipts

How do I pay?
By card when you book, or in cash to the driver at the end of the journey where that's offered. Paying by card confirms the booking straight away.
Why can't I pay cash on this journey?
Cash isn't offered on Executive-class journeys or on any journey with a via stop — those are card payment only. Where cash is available we still take a card at booking, to hold against the cancellation policy; it isn't charged.
Can I get a VAT receipt?
Yes — there’s a receipt link on your booking confirmation, and under Receipts in your bookings. It opens as a printable page, so you can save it as a PDF from your browser.
Are tolls and airport charges included?
Yes. The price you're quoted includes the airport drop-off or pick-up charge and any tolls or congestion charges on the route. There's nothing extra to settle with the driver beyond a cash fare, if that's how you're paying.

Your driver and vehicle

When do I find out who is driving me?
Around 12 hours before pick-up. We'll send you the driver's first name, photograph, PHV licence number and the vehicle registration, and it's all on your booking page too.
Why do I only see the driver's first name?
Driver privacy policy — a first name, photo and licence number is enough to identify the right car safely without publishing a driver's full identity to every passenger.
Are your drivers licensed?
Yes. Every driver holds a current TfL private hire driver licence and every car is a licensed private hire vehicle. We're a licensed private hire operator, licence TFL-OP-1043 7715. Private hire cars must be booked in advance — they can't be hailed in the street.
Can I request a specific driver?
Not through the website. Mention it when you call and we'll try, but we can't guarantee a particular driver for a particular journey.

Your account

Do I need an account to book?
No — you can book as a guest and manage that booking from the link in your confirmation. An account just keeps all your journeys in one place on any device. Create one whenever you like; it’s free.
I booked as a guest — can I still see my booking?
Yes, from the link in your confirmation email. Bookings made on this device also show up under your bookings automatically, even without an account.
I've forgotten my password.
Password reset isn’t self-service yet — call +44 20 7946 0100 or get in touch and we’ll sort it out.
